"You are whole and complete souls delighting in the creation of multiple incarnations in which you expand awareness, gain wisdom through lived experiences, and celebrate life.
Whether your lives are happy or full of sorrow,
you believe the stories you tell yourself and others,
because it makes the games you play together more enjoyable."
This blog contains some of the stories I tell myself. I hope you enjoy them. Thank you for leaving comments or suggestions of topics you'd like to hear about.
Swami Vivekananda said, "All that appears different in the world is a matter of degree, not kind. The secret is, all things are One." I agree that all things are the product of one source and it's easy for me to behold The One in all things beautiful and wonderful, but it's harder to be joyful about things that seem so different; for example, a titanium hip. Today I visited the surgeon who replaced the worn-out bone of my left hip last year with an amazing arrangement of titanium parts. X-rays showed that everything had healed properly and all is well. With help from a Body Talk practitioner, I came to accept having a metal hip. It's different from the other hip, but only as a matter of degree, not kind. Everything is All One, no matter how different it may appear from the inside or the outside.
